Description
Amazon Web Services is hiring a Systems Engineering Manager to lead and improve service delivery processes for global data center infrastructure, including operational technology, networking, industrial controls, HVAC, and electrical systems. The role manages a growing team of engineers, analysts, and project managers; provides technical and soft-skill mentoring; oversees performance and career development; leads cross-functional projects; and coordinates with stakeholders, vendors, and operations leaders. The position requires at least 10 years of engineering team management experience and 10 years of hands-on infrastructure, troubleshooting, systems administration, networking, DevOps, or applications development experience, with a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. The base salary is 136,500–184,600 USD annually in Arlington and Herndon, Virginia, with medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
