Lockheed Martin is hiring a full-time System Engineer to lead the Houston Orion Test Lab facility. The role oversees operations personnel, staffing, performance reviews, priorities, scheduling, lab certification, cost and schedule management, and technical planning for system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses. The engineer will also coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition or disciplinary actions. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience, anomaly troubleshooting and problem-resolution experience, leadership experience in an integrated hardware/software test environment, and United States citizenship.
