Description
Lockheed Martin is hiring a first-line manager of Specialty Engineering to lead diagnostics development and system safety on RMA/Owego programs. The role performs systems engineering, integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses; translates customer requirements into hardware and software specifications; and coordinates subordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance, assignments, compensation, and disciplinary actions. Candidates need at least 9 years of experience in systems engineering or an equivalent technical discipline, experience in systems engineering, software development, or system safety, proposal cost estimating, technical planning, schedule management, requirement decomposition, and leading multidisciplinary teams. The position offers a full-time salary range of $129,000 to $239,600 and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
