Description

Lockheed Martin is hiring an All Up Round Architecture and Configuration Manager to lead the configuration definition and ownership of specialty and tactical AURs for Conventional Prompt Strike and Long Range Hypersonic Weapon programs. The role manages systems engineering, acceptance testing, data reviews, test-process improvements, technical reviews, troubleshooting, customer relationships, and team development. Candidates need engineering and systems engineering experience, missile or spacecraft program experience, technical testing and quality-resolution experience, and eligibility for a DoD Secret security clearance or higher. The position offers a full-time salary range of $145,100 to $269,500 and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience in systems, electrical, mechanical, or other engineering discipline roles
Experience in an engineering role on missile, spacecraft, or related systems
Experience with acceptance testing, quality issue resolution, test troubleshooting, and production processes
Experience in a technical role on government development programs, or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience
Leadership of technical teams to achieve program-level objectives
Experience with missile system design, development, production, test, integration, and operation on military host platforms
Familiarity with missile and launch vehicle development life cycles and supporting hardware production
Familiarity with configuration control and quality control tools and systems
Familiarity with systems engineering processes, procedures, and tools
Experience contributing to successful completion of engineering milestone reviews
Experience with testbed integration of vehicle, weapon systems, simulators, and support equipment
Ability to think critically, lead troubleshooting and root cause investigations, and resolve complex technical issues
Ability to establish, manage, and communicate team expectations, goals, roles, responsibilities, and objectives
