Description
Ford is hiring a Vehicle SET Zone Engineer to manage the systems design and engineering of vehicle zones such as pickup-truck box structures, tailgates, liftgates, rear lighting, trim, hardware, locks, mechanisms, and electrical distribution. The role leads cost, weight, quality, labor, service, packaging, integration, trade-off, and systems-design reviews; manages Tier 1 supplier relationships; and supports program milestones and cross-functional issue resolution. It requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least five years of relevant vehicle systems experience, CAD skills in CATIA v.5 or 3DX, and strong systems-engineering and design-thinking knowledge. The position is hybrid, requires onsite work four or more days per week, and offers a base salary of $115,500–$218,100.
