Description
Rigetti is hiring a Systems Integration Engineer for its Deployments team to bring quantum processors to customer sites, validate and debug hardware and software, monitor cloud operations, and translate technical results into operational guidance. The role is primarily based in the United Kingdom with approximately 30–50% travel to customer sites and an additional 10–25% international travel requirement. Candidates must have a relevant PhD or equivalent degree with industry or postdoctoral experience, hands-on superconducting-qubit experience, Python proficiency, strong debugging skills, and the ability to work in customer-facing field environments. The role offers two specialization tracks: Systems & Integration, focused on cryogenic hardware and qubit characterisation, and Gate Calibration & Deployment, focused on 1Q/2Q gate performance, automated recalibration, and cloud deployment workflows.
