Description
Lockheed Martin is hiring a Production Operations Manager for its Assembly, Test and Launch Operations organization building the Orion spacecraft. The role supervises a geographically dispersed, multifunctional workforce across manufacturing and test functions at Kennedy Space Center, including three shifts per day, seven days per week. Responsibilities include leading supervisors, sequencing and scheduling work, developing floor operations instructions, overseeing lift operations and FOD/FOE, Drop Mitigation and Tool Control plans, investigating incidents, assessing performance, and coordinating with manufacturing peers, engineers, contractors, and the customer. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, aerospace manufacturing experience, experience managing an hourly workforce, and United States citizenship.
