Spire is hiring a Systems Operations Engineer to own the technical quality of on-orbit mission operations, monitor and maintain service-level objectives, assess constellation underperformance, define asset profiles and operational requirements, support configuration control and FDIR, and lead fleet-wide operational changes. The role requires a relevant technical degree, at least three years of experience in system performance monitoring, root cause analysis, and anomaly resolution, and familiarity with space systems, observability, Python, SQL, and GitHub. It follows a hybrid model requiring at least three office days per week and offers a base salary of $130,000 to $171,000 USD plus commissions and equity.
