Description

The Medical University of South Carolina is hiring a fully remote Systems Programmer/Developer II to support South Carolina AHEC's custom AHEC Learning Portal, Moodle learning management system, websites, servers, databases, and system integrations. The role includes full-stack application design and development, testing, deployment, maintenance, quality assurance, web and database administration, secure infrastructure and backup management, troubleshooting, technical documentation, and collaboration with education, communications, data, evaluation, and technical teams. Remote work must be performed from within the United States.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: High school diploma plus three years of relevant experience, or an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field in lieu of the experience
Required Previous Experiences: Three years of experience modifying and maintaining system programs, designing and developing system software, or testing and debugging system software
Preferred Qualifications: Full-stack web development with UI/UX, front-end, application coding, and database development
Database/RDBMS and web server configuration and administration using Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and Microsoft IIS
Moodle or other learning management system support, maintenance, or customization
Communication, teamwork, problem-solving, project management, and prioritization
