Description
Techno is hiring a Systems Safety Manager to lead system safety and safety certification activities for major transportation and infrastructure projects across New York and New Jersey. The role oversees safety management plans, regulatory compliance, hazard mitigation, audits, contractor documentation, risk assessments, corrective actions, and coordination with project teams, contractors, consultants, and agencies through design, construction, testing, and operational readiness. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering, safety management, transportation, or a related field, at least 10 years of relevant experience, strong rail or transit infrastructure experience, OSHA 10 certification, and the ability to work across active project sites. The expected salary is $80–$135 per hour in the New York City Metropolitan Area, with health, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and bonus benefits.
