Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring an onsite Systems Software Engineer to develop, optimize, test, and debug software for next-generation storage devices. The role involves low-level systems programming, embedded systems, device drivers, Linux, hardware-software integration, performance optimization, and system architecture, with technical leadership and mentorship responsibilities. A bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or software field is required, while C programming, Python or Rust, and embedded systems experience are preferred or desirable. The position is based at an HPE office in Costa Rica.
