HPE Storage is hiring a Software Update Test Engineer to validate software updates across the HPE Alletra Object and File Storage portfolio. The role designs and executes automated test plans for storage cluster upgrades involving software, Kubernetes, firmware, operating systems, and infrastructure components; verifies data integrity, service availability, resiliency, interoperability, and operational stability; develops rollback and disaster-recovery scenarios; troubleshoots issues across storage, Kubernetes, Linux, and networking layers; and maintains Python-based automation frameworks. The position is onsite at an HPE office and requires a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant technical discipline and at least five years of experience in software testing, system validation, storage engineering, distributed systems, or related technical domains.
