Genentech is hiring a System Specialist II for its Department of Structural Biology to support cryogenic electron microscopy and cryoET work in drug discovery and fundamental research. The role processes cryoEM data into high-resolution maps and tomograms, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, trains facility users, operates and maintains Titan Krios and Glacios microscopes, and tests emerging cryoEM/cryoET protocols and technologies. Candidates need relevant education and experience in biochemistry, biophysics, or structural biology, along with hands-on cryoET and cryoEM image-processing experience.
