JPL is hiring a Facilities Maintenance and Operations Engineer V to serve as the lead technical authority for the Table Mountain Facility in Wrightwood, California. The role oversees the reliability, maintainability, compliance, and strategic development of complex remote-site infrastructure, including power grids, industrial cooling, water systems, civil works, security systems, fleet operations, emergency response, and capital projects. The engineer will manage subcontractors, coordinate with external and internal stakeholders, maintain CMMS records, and support 24/7 scientific operations. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline with 12 years of experience, or a master's degree with 10 years, or a PhD with 8 years, plus experience in remote, high-altitude, environmentally challenging locations. The typical full-time equivalent annual hiring range is $160,576 to $212,160.
