Chartis Federal is hiring an IT Systems Engineer / TACCOM System Administrator in Orlando, Florida to provide operations and maintenance support for the TACCOM Primary Core supporting nationwide DHS communications. The role focuses on monitoring system health, troubleshooting outages, managing software and firmware updates and patches, maintaining configuration, coordinating with a secondary core team for resiliency, and supporting Key Management Facility operations including OTAR and cryptographic key handling. The position requires at least two years of Motorola Core experience, relevant core administration training, rotating or on-call availability, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability determination.
