Description
The Tanker Master is responsible for the safe, efficient, environmentally responsible, and economical operation of a tanker vessel, including crew supervision, vessel maneuvering, equipment inspections, cargo and ballasting oversight, regulatory compliance, safety and security, and crew training. The role requires a USCG Merchant Mariner Credential with international and national endorsements, valid USCG/STCW medical and TWIC credentials, a U.S. passport, and experience as a petroleum ATB Master or with other tank vessels; maritime academy education and ABS Nautical Systems NS5 experience are preferred.
