The successful candidate will act as a go-to tax expert, focusing on industry-focused tax advisory and compliance services for partnerships and large-scale closely-held businesses. This role involves leading client relationships, consulting on technical matters, coordinating with specialty tax practices, overseeing tax-planning responsibilities, and contributing to the firm's growth through networking and client acquisition.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 15+ years of experience in public accounting.
At least 5+ years of supervisory experience counseling associates.
Previous equity-holding role in a major public accounting firm.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree or advanced certification in taxation.
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of tax compliance and reporting requirements and best practices for flow through entities and partnerships, as well as the tax implications of various business transactions, entity structuring and tax planning strategies. Candidate should have worked with a variety of industries as a client base.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships, identify and pursue new business opportunities and generate revenue growth.
Proactive, innovative and solution-oriented mindset with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Local to Manhattan, and willingness to travel as needed to serve clients.
