Abilities First is hiring a full-time Teacher Aide for its Educational Learning Experience program in New Windsor, New York. The role supports students with developmental disabilities by helping implement IEP goals, conducting classroom activities, assisting with mobility and adaptive equipment, supporting feeding and personal-care routines, and participating in therapy and staff meetings. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for 32.5 hours per week and 48 weeks per year, with a salary range of $16.88 to $18.88. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while early childhood and special education experience is preferred; the position also requires the ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist students using adaptive equipment.
