The Children’s Services of ACLD is hiring a full-time Teacher Aide for its Bay Shore facility. The role performs one-on-one non-instructional duties under classroom teacher and program supervisor supervision, assists assigned students with classroom activities and Individual Education Plan duties, and supervises children in preschool and after-school educational settings. The position runs Monday through Friday from 7:45 to 3:15, offers a $1,250 sign-on bonus for completion of New York State Teacher Assistant Certification within six months, and requires applicants to be at least 18, physically able to supervise preschoolers, and able to supervise children independently.
