The Teacher Aide at The Orchard School provides supervision, counseling, and support to children during the school day, ensuring their basic needs are met and maintaining a safe environment. They work as part of a multidisciplinary team, assist in planning and delivering instruction, and actively participate in training and team discussions. The position requires a minimum of a High School Diploma with 3 years of related experience or an associates degree with two years of classroom experience, good communication skills, and the ability to handle physical requirements, including therapeutic crisis intervention.
