Description
The American School for the Deaf is hiring a Teacher Aide for a 10-month, benefits-eligible position following the school calendar. The role supervises deaf and hard-of-hearing children and adolescents during school and out-of-school hours, supports personal care and mobility, promotes social growth, implements Positive Behavior Intervention Support, maintains reports and logs, and collaborates with teachers and residential staff. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and the position is based in West Hartford.
