Description
Worcester Community Action Council is hiring a Teacher Assistant to support its Early Head Start and Head Start programs by working with a Lead Teacher to plan, organize, and carry out classroom programs and activities for children from prenatal through kindergarten enrollment. The role may travel between centers in East Brookfield, Southbridge, and Webster, and requires an associate’s degree in early childhood education, social work, human services, or a related field, along with a Department of Early Education and Care License, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and required health and safety certifications. The starting salary is $18 to $21.
