Child Start is hiring a Teacher Assistant for its Early Childhood and Head Start programs in Wichita, Kansas. The role supports Lead Teachers by supervising preschool children ages 3–5, implementing age-appropriate curriculum and screenings, maintaining classroom and assessment records, communicating with parents, supporting family engagement, and ensuring a safe learning environment. The position requires a current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential for ages 3–5 and one year of preschool experience; an Early Childhood Education degree and Spanish/English bilingual ability are preferred.
