Description
The Head Start Teacher is responsible for implementing Head Start Performance Standards and other regulatory requirements in an assigned classroom. The role supports children’s health and safety, curriculum and assessment aligned with the Early Learning Outcomes Framework, parent and family engagement, and professional development. It requires collaboration with teachers, substitutes, volunteers, management, and families; strong communication and organizational skills; and a high school diploma or Child Development Associate credential.
