Easterseals is hiring a Teacher Assistant for a 10-month preschool position, with an option to work during the summer extended school year. The role supports a Special Education Teacher in an integrated, self-contained classroom by assisting with children’s physical and personal care, behavior management, observation, records, assessment, and classroom maintenance. The position requires working under classroom-teacher supervision and offers $17.00-$20.00 per hour; a high school education or GED is preferred, with a bachelor’s degree, two years of experience working with children, and Level I NYS Teacher Assistant Certification also preferred.
