Description
This posting describes a non-exempt Teacher Assistant classification supporting school staff and students across possible assignments including instructional assistance, behavior intervention or control-room support, substitute bus driving, computer lab instruction, testing coordination, student success coordination, and bilingual ESL assistance. Duties may include classroom and small-group instruction, student behavior support, discipline and attendance tracking, data analysis, testing administration, clerical and records management, translation and interpretation, software and computer support, and coordination with teachers, counselors, administrators, parents, and outside programs. The role requires a high school diploma plus college credits, an associate degree, or an alternative CEU and WorkKeys pathway; a CDL may be required or obtainable if bus-driving duties are advertised. The position reports to the Principal and Assistant Principal and requires passing a health exam, criminal records check, and drug test.
