Description
The campus-based Teacher Assistant/Educational Aide supports certified teachers and students through non-instructional classroom assistance, student supervision, tutoring, discipline support, recordkeeping, materials organization, equipment care, and participation in meetings, events, and professional development. The role requires regular on-site attendance, bilingual Spanish/English ability, a high school diploma or equivalent plus an associate degree, 48 college credit hours, or an academic assessment, and a valid Texas educational aide certificate. Prior teacher-assistant experience or training is preferred.
