Teacher Assistant, Head Start at Communify

CommUnify is hiring a full-time Head Start Teacher Assistant to support classroom teachers at the Cuyama Head Start Center. The role maintains child supervision, assists with meals, nap time, classroom care, curriculum implementation, observations, assessments, family communication, and special-needs support. Candidates need a California Child Development Teacher Assistant Permit or higher, enrollment in a Child Development Associate credential program, and completion of required physical, tuberculosis, fingerprint, and vaccination requirements. The position is off during the summer and pays $19.00–$20.00 per hour depending on completed Early Childhood Education units.
