Description
The Head Start Teacher works as part of a teaching team to support the orderly functioning of a classroom and create an appropriate social-emotional environment for children. The role may involve reassignment to different classrooms or centers as needed. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, an eligible early-childhood credential or degree, completion of an approved early-career course, First Aid and BLS/CPR certification, and successful health, TB, and criminal background screening. Bilingual Spanish/English or Navajo/English and experience with children ages birth through five are preferred.
