Description
The Monarch School and Institute is hiring a Teacher Assistant to support students with neurological differences in a therapeutic educational setting. The role reports to the Program Director, assists Professional Educators with individualized education plans and programmed lessons, monitors students’ health and medical needs, provides first aid and behavioral support, maintains records, and collaborates with teachers, therapists, and other school staff. A high school diploma is required; a healthcare-related bachelor’s degree and experience working with individuals with neurological differences or special needs are preferred. The position involves frequent standing, kneeling, stooping, bending, lifting up to 40 pounds, and supporting active young students.
