Description
The position provides students with learning activities and experiences that support their intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. The teacher plans differentiated instruction, creates and manages a conducive classroom environment, delivers curriculum-aligned lessons, assesses student progress, maintains required records, communicates with students and parents, refers students for specialist evaluation when needed, supervises aides and volunteers, participates in professional development and staff activities, and follows district policies. A bachelor's degree and an appropriate Texas Teacher Certificate are required; no prior experience is specified.
