Description
The Teacher implements classroom activities and curriculum for young children under the supervision of the Center Director or Center Teacher. Responsibilities include creating a supportive learning environment, assisting with children’s routines and meals, supporting individualized behavior plans, communicating with parents and community members, maintaining confidentiality, administering first aid, and taking a lead role when the Center Director or Center Teacher is absent. The role requires an Associate Teacher Permit or eligibility, one year of early childhood teaching experience, knowledge of child development and curriculum planning, and the ability to work with children, parents, and staff.
