The Hawaii State Department of Education seeks a highly qualified teacher fluent in the Hawaiian language. A Bachelor's Degree is required, except for Career and Technology Education (CTE) positions. Candidates who do not complete a Teacher's Education Program must obtain a Hawaii teaching license within three years of hiring, enrolling in a program aligned with their teaching line. Upon hire, applicants must possess a valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit.
