Description
The Head Start Teacher works at the Fillmore Head Start Center in the Lompoc area, developing developmentally appropriate lesson plans, screening and assessing preschool children, individualizing educational plans, supporting self-care and classroom safety, communicating with families, and maintaining records. The role requires an associate degree or higher in early childhood education or child development, relevant California teacher credentials, a current Child Development Permit, and Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification. Compensation is $25.00–$27.80 per hour, with full-time benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, leave, and a retirement plan.
