Description
The Early Childhood Educator supports candidates completing coursework or training toward a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or New Mexico Child Development Certificate by providing a social and emotional classroom environment for typically and atypically developing children. The role works with a Teacher II or Center Supervisor, may be reassigned among classrooms or centers, and requires a high school diploma or GED, relevant early-childhood education or coursework, and completion of CDA or NM CDC requirements within 120 days of hire. First Aid and BLS/CPR certifications must be obtained within 30 days, and the position requires health, TB, and criminal background checks.
