Description
The Teacher Level 1 supports the Early Childhood Education Coordinator in planning and executing daily classroom activities for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and developmentally appropriate classroom, documenting children’s records, conducting home visits and parent conferences, supporting children with special needs, maintaining staff-to-child ratios, and assisting with facility care. The role requires a CDA, relevant education or two years of experience working with young children, current physical and tuberculosis clearances, and the ability to work flexible hours, travel to rural areas, and perform physically demanding work.
