Description
The Teacher I supports the daily care, supervision, and development of young children in a safe, nurturing, clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment. The role plans and implements age-appropriate learning activities, supervises children during routines, maintains classroom structure, supports children’s health and safety, communicates with families, and coordinates with other classroom staff. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, one year of early childhood education experience, and First Aid and CPR certification; preferred qualifications include a Child Development Associate certificate and an associate degree in early childhood education.
