Journey Community Schools is hiring a School Building Substitute to fill daily absences across its K–8 campuses. The role may cover teaching, paraprofessional, or other assigned positions and includes supervising students, supporting instruction, providing tutoring or intervention services, communicating with staff and families, completing clerical tasks, and participating in meetings or school events. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field, experience working with K–8 students, knowledge of child development and learning styles, strong organization and communication skills, and effective classroom management. At least one year of experience as a teacher, teacher intern, or teaching assistant is preferred.
