Description
The YMCA is hiring a part-time Teacher's Aide to support before- and after-school programs for school-age students at Portland Public Schools and YMCA sites in Portland and the Columbia-Willamette Association. The role assists teachers in maintaining a safe, developmentally appropriate classroom, implementing engaging curriculum, and building positive relationships with children, parents, and the school community. The position requires a YMCA background check, Oregon State Childcare Registry enrollment, CPR and First Aid certification, Food Handlers certification, and at least 14 years of age, with starting pay of $17.00 per hour.
