Challenge Preparatory Charter School is hiring a full-time Teaching Assistant to support K–5 scholars across its Far Rockaway sites. The role assists lead teachers with lesson planning, classroom instruction, attendance and recordkeeping, guided reading, Tier 2 and Tier 3 intervention, family communication, and student supervision. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree with relevant teaching experience, NYS Level 1 Teacher Assistant Certification, and strong communication and organizational skills. The position runs from mid-August through the end of June and includes health, dental, vision, retirement matching, paid time off, and professional development.
