Easterseals Learning Academy is hiring a full-time Teaching Assistant to support students with autism, intellectual disabilities, emotional disabilities, developmental delays, and other health impairments. The role works alongside teachers, therapists, and behavior support staff to provide classroom instruction, reinforce skills, encourage positive behavior, model independence, and assist with assignments and accommodations. The position is based in Germantown Hills, Illinois, with a Monday-through-Friday schedule during the regular school year and a summer schedule during the 20-day June session. Candidates need college credit or an approved paraprofessional examination, special education experience is preferred, and the role requires a valid driver's license, computer skills, and training in Crisis Prevention Intervention. Compensation is $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, with medical, dental, vision, paid time off, retirement matching, and professional development benefits.
