Description
Outwood Academy Haydock is hiring a Teaching Assistant to support teachers and students in a permanent contract subject to external funding for nurture provision approved until 31/08/2029. The role works 30 hours per week during term time, Monday to Friday, and includes classroom support, intervention management for SEND and EAL students, individualized support planning, social and emotional support, hygiene and care assistance, intervention cover, educational-visit supervision, and examination invigilation. Candidates need school or children-and-young-people experience, strong communication, ICT proficiency, confidentiality, and willingness to undertake necessary training; experience with special needs or challenging behaviour is desirable.
