Description
Outwood Academy Hemsworth is hiring a Teaching Assistant to work 30 hours per week during term time, Monday to Friday, plus five additional days. The role supports teachers with classroom activities, monitors and records student progress, provides academic and welfare support, assists students with SEND or EAL, helps develop individual support plans, supports social and emotional well-being, assists with personal care where required, provides cover in intervention settings, and supervises educational visits and formal examinations. Candidates need school or children-and-young-people experience, strong communication skills, ICT proficiency, confidentiality and data-protection awareness, and willingness to undertake necessary training; experience with special needs or challenging behaviour is desirable.
