Outwood Academy Haydock is hiring a Teaching Assistant to support teachers and students in a permanent contract subject to external funding for nurture provision. The role begins on 09/11/2026, runs 30 hours per week during term time, and includes classroom support, intervention management for SEND and EAL students, individualized support planning, welfare assistance, educational-visit supervision, and examination invigilation. Candidates need school or children-and-young-people experience, strong communication, ICT proficiency, confidentiality, and willingness to undertake necessary training; experience with special needs or challenging behaviour is desirable.
