Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, together with Hillfort Primary School, is appointing a Year 1 Teaching Assistant in Liskeard, Cornwall. The role supports children transitioning from Early Years into Key Stage 1, works with the class teacher to deliver small-group phonics, early literacy, and numeracy interventions, and requires a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, proven Read Write Inc experience, positive behaviour management, knowledge of continuous provision, and the ability to support children with SEND. The position requires an enhanced DBS check and assessment against the Childcare Disqualification Regulations.
