Description
The Teaching Assistant, Computer Information Science provides hands-on laboratory support for faculty and students by installing, demonstrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer equipment and facilities. The role includes preparing laboratories for experiments, supporting laboratory instruction for up to 10 hours per week, maintaining equipment, inventories, manuals, and logs, assisting with procurement and suppliers, and helping faculty and students with projects and teaching materials. A bachelor's degree in a relevant computing or engineering discipline and at least three years of progressive hands-on hardware and software support experience are preferred or required as specified, along with strong troubleshooting, communication, customer service, organizational, teamwork, and English-language skills.
