Description
The Department of Chinese Language Studies is hiring a Teaching Assistant to support learning and teaching activities, including planning and supporting in-class and extracurricular activities, preparing course materials, administering courses and programmes, assisting with admissions, serving as a secretary for meetings, and occasionally traveling to mainland China. Applicants need a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, preferably a Master’s degree, experience in outreach or teaching support, strong written English and Chinese, and proficiency in spoken English and Putonghua. The role is on a fixed-term contract with medical and dental benefits, and applications were due by 16 September 2026.
