Description
The Teaching Assistant supports the Lead Teacher and children in a primary classroom at CAP Early Learning Center in Downtown Lancaster. Responsibilities include implementing the Creative Curriculum and Thrive to Five daily structures, planning lessons, assessing children, collecting GOLD data, maintaining safe and healthy routines, supporting social-emotional and behavior plans, engaging families, and supervising children. The role is non-exempt and permanent, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for 40 hours per week, and requires a high school diploma or GED with 2,500 documented hours of experience with children or an Age-Appropriate Child Development Associate Credential with 1,250 documented hours of experience with children.
