Brightway Living & Learning is hiring a full-time School Age Teaching Assistant to support students with developmental disabilities in an ungraded self-contained classroom. The role assists with IEP implementation, behavior and performance data collection, instruction, safety, supervision, behavior-support plans, student transportation, and substitute-teacher coverage. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, an initial Teaching Assistant or NYSL1 certification, and strong communication skills. The position offers Monday–Friday shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., pays $18.25–$21.90 per hour, and includes medical, dental, vision, retirement, training, and other benefits.
