Brightway Living & Learning is hiring a full-time School Age Teaching Assistant to support students with developmental disabilities in an ungraded self-contained classroom. The role assists with IEP implementation, behavior and performance data collection, instruction, safety, supervision, behavior-support plans, student transportation, and substitute-teacher coverage. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, an initial Teaching Assistant or NYSL1 certification, and strong communication skills. The position offers Monday–Friday shifts, hourly pay of $18.25–$21.90, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off.
